## 1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By participating in the Coffee for Carers campaign (the "Campaign"), whether by submitting a nomination, registering as a member of Drogheda City Now, or redeeming a complimentary beverage, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate in the Campaign.

## 2. CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
2.1 Campaign Period
The Coffee for Carers Campaign runs from 1 May 2026 through 30 May 2026 ("Campaign Period"), with complimentary beverage redemptions accepted through 15 June 2026 ("Redemption Period").
2.2 Campaign Purpose
The Campaign is a community appreciation initiative designed to recognize and thank healthcare workers serving the Drogheda region through public nominations and sponsor-funded complimentary coffee redemptions.
2.3 Campaign Sponsor
The Campaign is sponsored by Cuala Senior Care Limited, trading as Dovida ("Main Sponsor").

## 3. NOMINATION PROCESS
3.1 Public Nominations
Members of the public may submit nominations thanking healthcare workers via the Campaign microsite. Nominations will be displayed on the digital "Wall of Thanks" subject to moderation and approval.
3.2 Content Moderation
All nominations are subject to content moderation. Drogheda City Now reserves the right to reject, remove, or modify any nomination that contains profanity, hate speech, discriminatory content, personally identifying information beyond what is necessary, or any content deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.
3.3 No Guaranteed Redemption
IMPORTANT: Submitting a nomination does NOT entitle the nominated healthcare worker to receive a complimentary beverage. Nominations are for public recognition purposes only. Healthcare workers must independently claim their complimentary beverage at participating outlets during the Redemption Period by presenting valid healthcare worker identification.

## 4. COMPLIMENTARY BEVERAGE REDEMPTION
4.1 Limited Availability
The Campaign provides up to five hundred (500) complimentary beverages during the Campaign Period and Redemption Period. This limit is subject to change based on sponsor availability and funding. Once the maximum number of beverages has been redeemed, no further complimentary beverages will be available, regardless of the Redemption Period end date.
4.2 Eligible Recipients
Complimentary beverages are available exclusively to healthcare workers employed in frontline healthcare roles within the Drogheda region. Eligible healthcare workers include, but are not limited to, those employed by hospitals, nursing homes, community health services, general practitioner practices, home care agencies, pharmacies, ambulance services, and similar healthcare facilities or services.
4.3 Non-Discrimination
Any healthcare worker with valid healthcare worker identification issued by a healthcare employer, facility, or regulatory body in the Drogheda region may claim a complimentary beverage during the Redemption Period. The Campaign does not discriminate on the basis of job title, seniority, employment status, facility type, or any other characteristic.
4.4 Geographic Limitation
Complimentary beverages are available only to healthcare workers employed in the Drogheda region, defined as healthcare facilities and services located in or serving the greater Drogheda area in Counties Louth and Meath, Ireland.
4.5 Identification Requirement
Healthcare workers must present valid healthcare worker identification at the time of redemption. Acceptable identification includes employee badges, work identification cards, or other credentials issued by a healthcare employer or regulatory authority.
4.6 Redemption Process
To redeem a complimentary beverage, eligible healthcare workers must:
- Visit a participating coffee outlet during the Campaign Period or Redemption Period
- Present valid healthcare worker identification
- Request the complimentary Coffee for Carers beverage
- Accept any standard beverage offered by the participating outlet, subject to the limitations in Section 4.7
4.7 Beverage Limitations
The complimentary beverage offer:
- Is limited to standard coffee beverages
- Does NOT include premium beverages, specialty drinks, or add-ons (e.g., extra shots, alternative milks, syrups, flavourings) unless included in the standard beverage at no additional cost
- Requires the healthcare worker to pay for any upgrades, add-ons, or premium selections
- Is limited to ONE complimentary beverage per healthcare worker per day during the Redemption Period
4.8 No Cash Alternative
Complimentary beverages have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred to another person.
4.9 No Combination with Other Offers
The complimentary beverage offer cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, loyalty programs, or offers at participating coffee outlets.
4.10 Participating Outlets
A list of participating coffee outlets is available on the Campaign microsite. Drogheda City Now is not responsible for any participating outlet's decision to cease participation during the Campaign Period or Redemption Period.

## 5. DROGHEDA CITY NOW MEMBERSHIP
5.1 Automatic Membership
By submitting a nomination through the Campaign microsite, you automatically become a member of Drogheda City Now and consent to receiving communications from Drogheda City Now regarding community events, initiatives, and campaigns.
5.2 Membership Communications
As a member, you may receive email communications related to:
- Drogheda City Now community activities and events
- Coffee for Carers Campaign updates
- Future community campaigns and initiatives
- Local business partnerships and opportunities
5.3 Unsubscribe Rights
You may unsubscribe from Drogheda City Now communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or by contacting events@droghedacitynow.com.

## 6. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
6.1 Data Controller
Drogheda City Status Group CLG is the data controller for all personal data collected through the Campaign.
6.2 Data Collection
We collect the following personal data through the Campaign:
- Your name and email address (when submitting a nomination)
- Your thank-you message text
- Optionally, the name of the healthcare worker you are nominating
- The healthcare facility or department associated with the nomination
6.3 Data Use
Personal data collected is used solely for the following purposes:
- Displaying your thank-you message on the Campaign's digital Wall of Thanks
- Adding you to the Drogheda City Now member database
- Sending you Drogheda City Now communications as described in Section 5.2
- Preparing aggregated, anonymized Campaign reports for the Main Sponsor
6.4 Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Personal data is never shared with the Main Sponsor or any other third party except:
- As required by law or legal process
- With service providers who assist in operating the Campaign (e.g., website hosting, email services) under strict confidentiality agreements
- In aggregated, anonymized form that does not identify individual users
6.5 Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
6.6 Data Retention
Personal data collected through the Campaign will be retained for the duration of the Campaign plus twelve (12) months for reporting and archival purposes, unless you request earlier deletion or unsubscribe from Drogheda City Now communications.
6.7 Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to processing of your personal data
- Withdraw consent at any time

## 7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
7.1 Campaign Organizer Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drogheda City Status Group CLG (Drogheda City Now) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:
- Participation in the Campaign
- Submission of nominations
- Redemption or attempted redemption of complimentary beverages
- Use of the Campaign microsite
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in Campaign materials or information
7.2 Sponsor Liability
The Main Sponsor (Cuala Senior Care Limited / Dovida) and any co-sponsors of the Campaign are not liable for any issues, claims, damages, or losses arising from the Campaign, including but not limited to:
- The quality, safety, or preparation of beverages provided by participating coffee outlets
- Any actions or omissions of participating coffee outlets
- Any personal injury, property damage, or other harm occurring at participating coffee outlets
- Failure of healthcare workers to successfully redeem complimentary beverages
7.3 Participating Outlet Liability
Each participating coffee outlet is solely responsible for:
- The quality, preparation, and safety of all beverages served
- Compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Any personal injury or property damage occurring on their premises
- Their own business operations, policies, and customer service
Drogheda City Now and the Main Sponsor are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or liabilities of participating coffee outlets.
7.4 No Warranty
The Campaign, Campaign microsite, and all related materials are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Drogheda City Now does not warrant that:
- The Campaign microsite will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Complimentary beverages will be available throughout the entire Redemption Period
- All participating outlets will remain available throughout the Campaign Period
7.5 Maximum Liability
In no event shall Drogheda City Now's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Campaign exceed the sum of €100.00.

## 8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
8.1 Campaign Materials
All Campaign materials, including but not limited to the Campaign name, logo, microsite design, graphics, and promotional content, are the intellectual property of Drogheda City Status Group CLG or used under license.
8.2 User-Generated Content
By submitting a nomination, you grant Drogheda City Now a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your submitted content (including your name and thank-you message) for Campaign promotional purposes, archival purposes, and future Drogheda City Now communications.
8.3 User Representations
By submitting a nomination, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the right to submit the content
- Your submission does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Your submission does not violate any law or regulation

## 9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
9.1 Reporting Issues
Any disputes, complaints, or issues arising from or related to the Campaign must be reported in writing to events@droghedacitynow.com within thirty (30) days of the incident giving rise to the dispute.
9.2 Good Faith Resolution
Drogheda City Now will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes in good faith. However, Drogheda City Now's decisions regarding Campaign administration, eligibility determinations, and dispute resolution are final and binding.
9.3 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any legal proceedings arising out of or related to the Campaign shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ireland.

## 10. GENERAL PROVISIONS
10.1 Campaign Modifications
Drogheda City Now reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign at any time for any reason, including but not limited to sponsor withdrawal, insufficient funding, or unforeseen circumstances. Notice of material changes will be posted on the Campaign microsite.
10.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
10.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Drogheda City Now regarding the Campaign and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations.
10.4 No Waiver
The failure of Drogheda City Now to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

## 11. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By participating in the Coffee for Carers Campaign, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
